The FGSR have been able to secure a $15,000 NECMA grant thanks to the efforts of our partner organisation, the Upper Ovens Valley Landcare Group. Called the Riparian Incentive Program, it is designed to improve environmental biodiversity through a comprehensive weed control strategy, and the planting of some 1700 indigenous tube stock throughout the Reserve. Weed management work will be undertaken in late spring, and the replanting program is planned for autumn and winter 2018.
